Henry Carroll

Henry Carroll is a bestselling author, manuscript consultant and game creator with an MFA from the Royal College of Art, London (2005).

In 2014 Henry authored the bestselling ‘Read This if You Want to Take Great Photographs’ series which has sold over one million copies across 22 languages. A list of Henry’s books can be found here.

In October 2024 the first book in his ‘Decades’ series, ‘The 1980s: Image of a Decade’, was published by Thames & Hudson and was followed by ‘The 1990s: A Visual History of the Decade’ in October 2025.

Henry lives in Los Angeles where he is currently pursuing a masters in Clinical Psychology.
